Why this business was started
I am the CEO and sole designer of ZoeBags, a London brand focused on women's leather bags. Founded in 2012.

It's a well established brand, with fantastic press and adorned by celebrities.

Sold wholesale in 20 countries with regular appearances at the London and Paris Fashion weeks. Unique and recognisable style.

Sold in the leading department stores, concept stores and boutiques, such as Selfridges, Harvey Nichols, Galleries Lafayette, Luisa Via Roma, Wut Berlin, H Lorenzo, Urban Outfitters and other 42 stores across the world.

Huge celebrity following. Jennifer Lopez, Fergie, Ginnifer Goodwin, Brandy, Ellie Goulding, Julia Roberts, Olivia Coleman among others have been seen carrying a selection of bags.

Designs received rave reviews and were featured in the hundreds of the most influential fashion publications from Vogue, InStyle, Cosmopolitan, Tatler, Harpers Bazaar and many others Vogue, Marie Claire, Tatler and InStyle to Stylist, Cosmopolitan, Harper’s Bazaar among others.

All our bags are made in Italy.

A graduate of London’s St Martin's College, before launching this brand I worked for Alexander McQueen, Royal Opera House, and Scottish Ballet and showcased my work at the Science Museum London, Science Gallery Dublin and galleries in London and Paris. While experimenting with printing techniques on leather I fell in love with the art of leather accessories. From there I decided to focus on this area by creating experimental leather pieces, resulting in the unique eye-catching designs that define ZoeBags brand.

The basic steps are: - designing the handbag range - liaising with factory and material suppliers - supervising the manufacturing process - introducing the range to buyers and retailers - establishing contacts with buyers by means of direct contact or via trade shows/showrooms - establishing contacts with press and stylists
